RESUMEN We present an overview of quantum cosmology, focusing on recent advances in the context of loop quantum cosmology. The main results are a regular quantum evolution even through classical singularities, new light on the issue of initial conditions, and phenomenological modifications to classical equations of motion. Among other effects, the latter imply the presence of inflation at early stages.
